Terms and Conditions

 

PACKAGE DEALS

Recording packages must be fully paid for in advance. After payment is received and cleared a voucher or gift certificate will be provided stating the amount of time (4 or 8 hours) that has been pre-purchased and the name of the person it has been purchased for. Vouchers and gift certificates are non-transferable and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

BOOKING SESSIONS/HOURS

Whether using a voucher/gift certificate or purchasing recording hours, all bookings need to be made in advance and by phone or email. Studio availability is limited and is based on “first come first served” and Influential Studios reserve the right to refuse any booking.  There is a 2 hour minimum for any recording session.

 

ADDITIONAL HOURS

Influential Studios cannot guarantee the availability of additional unscheduled hours on the day of the session and therefore we advise that clients’, especially those using vouchers/gift certificates, book any extra hours in advance to avoid disappointment.

 

DEPOSIT

A 50% deposit is required to confirm any booking which is not a package deal i.e. for less than 4 hours. This includes additional hours booked on the back of a package. Influential Studios may, at its own discretion, hold session time aside for up to one week until a deposit is received and funds have cleared.

 

PAYMENT (Does not apply to hours included in package deals)

All outstanding payments are required on or by the day of the session, including any unscheduled additional hours used (cash or credit/debit card only, no cheques)

 

CANCELLATION

We require a minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation. If less than 48 hours notice is given then only 25% of the total booking fee will be returned. In the case of vouchers/gift certificates the pre-purchased time will be reduced by 25% when used at a later date.  If Influential Studios need to cancel a session it will aim to give a minimum of 48 hours notice, any monies paid will be refunded or an alternative date agreed.  No financial compensation will be paid.  See “INDEMNITY” below for details of cancellations with less than 48 hours notice given.

 

QUALITY

Influential Studios will use its best endeavours to produce a high quality recording, however it accepts no liability for the quality of the performances recorded or any technical issues during the recording session.

 

COPYRIGHT

Influential Studios have no right over the material recorded during sessions unless by prior agreement. Any copyright infringements as a result of the recording session(s) are the sole responsibility of the client.

 

INDEMNITY

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Influential Studios cancel the recording session with less than 48 hours notice or during the session itself, Influential Studios will refund all monies paid and will offer an alternative date with an extra hour free of charge. Influential Studios will not pay any financial compensation
