What to expect at X1

So, what is a Sunday at X1 like?

Welcoming

We seek to create an atmosphere that is warm and friendly where people can fit right in. No matter your background, age, or knowledge of the Christian faith we make every effort to help you enjoy your time with us.

 

Authentic Worship

A primary aim in our singing, prayer and fellowship every Sunday is that of authenticity. Our music is contemporary and meaningful. You of course are invited to participate and enjoy engaging with God, that’s what it is all about anyway.

 

Relevant & Engaging

You will not be jumping back two generations by walking through our doors. We make every effort to present the transforming truths of the Christian faith in a manner that engages with everyone. We assure you that what is taught will make a difference, all the difference in fact, to your 21st Century Life.

 

How Long?

We don't demand your whole morning. We try to meet for around one and a half hours. Because we know that Church is about so much more than Sunday morning we do not cram everything into this time. This is a time of celebration and meeting together in a way that is radically different to any smaller context.

 

What about my children?

We want your children to be telling you to come back. We want your young people to flourish and not just be accommodated. Therefore, we provide an atmosphere for different age groups from crèche through to 15. Our leaders are trained, CRB checked, and love what they do.    MORE
